I get it, you're a "middle of the road, I don't support you, but I don't want you to be murdered" type of guy. Do you speak out against those that do think I should be murdered, though? If not, then you're part of the problem.

And if someone attempts to speak out against those people but says the wrong thing, both camps jump all over them.

I have a big issue when somebody claims that you either support him or you are >his enemy. That trait becomes an extremist and the claim is most often false >than true.

Exactly. It is an extremist viewpoint. I could support something, or be apathetic towards it, but still be critical of the methods being used to acheive/express that something.

I wish mine still lived in their previous home. It had a finished basement (well, technically it was a bi-level) complete with bathrooms and bedrooms.
That'd be a nice setup! :D

Now, my mother lives in a much smaller home with no basement, while my
father and his wife live in a home with a clean, dry basement but with no facilities. It does at least have electric and is a walk out. ;)

When I was in 5th grade, I remember the class having an assignment to make some mock advertisements to promote health and not doing unhealthy things. I remember one of the students drew a graveyard with "Marlboro country" written below it.
